One teenage girl has been charged for an alleged break and enter after a Range Rover was allegedly stolen, driven “erratically” hitting a pole and terrorising other motorists.
Queensland Police allege the young driver of the 2013 white Range Rover was driving erratically within both Maryborough and Hervey Bay.

The car was seen in Urangan around midday travelling south along Elizabeth St when it allegedly hit a power pole, but kept driving.
Police believed on Sunday the car was continuing to be driven erratically and travelled south on the Bruce Hwy.
A post in a Facebook group attracted more than 300 comments by Sunday evening, following the car as it allegedly drove between Maryborough, Hervey Bay and Gympie.
Just before 3pm it was allegedly seen passing the Jockey Club on Gympie’s Southside, by 4.30pm it was reportedly spotted back in Maryborough driving past the hospital on Walker St, before driving past the Hervey Bay Airport at around 5pm.
“Almost just wrote me off coming off Lower Mountain Road, they came around the corner on two wheels, wrong side of road about 15/20 minutes ago,” Katelin Jean Singh claimed on Facebook of the vehicle.
More than 24 hours later, it was still being spotted on the streets and around 7am Monday was allegedly seen on the Esplanade near Beach Rd in Hervey Bay.
An update from Joy Burchell on the same Facebook thread alleged that about 7.30am the car “smashed into a fence in Queen Street, two female juveniles on foot down Freshwater St, police searching.”
An update on Monday morning from Queensland Police said the car was still missing.
“The Queensland Police Service appreciates community assistance in reporting local criminal activity. Information received from members of the public is continually instrumental in identifying and disrupting criminal offences,” a spokesperson said.
Police urged the community to remain safe, and not engage or try to disrupt “criminal activity”.
The incident started with an alleged break and enter around 2am on Sunday, with police arresting a 17-year-old girl at a nearby address after she left the property on foot.
Police have alleged the girl broke into the house with a group of teenagers before they left with the Range Rover.
She is alleged to have stolen a handbag and other personal effects from the property and was with a group of teenagers.
The 17-year-old girl has been charged with entering a dwelling and committing an indictable offence.
She will face Maryborough Children’s Court at a later date.
The vehicle is a white 2013 Range Rover with Queensland registration J3SS8.
Police investigators are appealing to anyone who has seen the Range Rover, or with relevant vision, to contact police.
Investigations are continuing.
