Police have arrested a man on suspicion of recall to prison three days after he jumped from a window “completely naked.” 999 crews descended on Stonydelph in Tamworth on Thursday, June 1 after it emerged that a man had ‘gone from a residential address’.
Officers went to an address in Edale, but say the man went out of a window whilst completely naked and fence hopped through gardens. A police search with sniffer dogs and helicopters ensued and a local alert was put out to residents to keep an eye out for a “completely naked” man.
“Surprised” locals reported a police helicopter overhead and police cars “flying up and down Pennine Way and the B5000” as officers searched for the man. By Friday he had not been found and the search continued.
