Pitso Mosimane is already looking forward to his next job despite gaining promotion and winning the league with Al Ahli Saudi FC.
The Saudi Arabia first division league title delivered by Pitso Mosimane at Al Ahli FC appears to have been met by a deafening silence from the club hierarchy who have now cast their eyes on a European coach.
Al Ahli’s 1-0 win over Al Sahel on Tuesday night meant Mosimane is now guaranteed of lifting the title having already secured promotion back to the Saudi Pro League at the beginning of May with four games to spare.

Now, with one game remaining, Al Ahli have also added the league title leaving Mosimane with his proud record of winning silverware with every club that he has coached.
‘Jingles’ delivered trophies at SuperSport United, Mamelodi Sundowns, and Al Ahly.
Through his time in Saudi Arabia where he found the club in seventh position after taking over in September 2022, he has won 19, drawn six, and lost three.
Yet despite ticking the important boxes of promotion and then winning the league that hasn’t been enough to convince the club’s top brass to extend his stay at the club.
On Tuesday night the club failed to break its silence on lifting a historic league title on its social platforms despite the league sending a congratulatory message on their social media channels.
The official account of the Yelow League for first division professional clubs put a message reading “Officially – Al Ahli, champions of the Yelow League for the 2022/3 sports season’.
For Al Ahli, while the fans broke out in song on the stands it was the usual post-match hugs for Mosimane after the match as he counts down to his last match in charge at the club.
The club only mentioned the full-time scores and the club management only waited in the tunnel instead of coming to celebrate the title on the pitch.
Mosimane has already confirmed that he is now waiting for his next project and will take care of his last match on Monday against Al Hazm when they will be handed the league trophy.
Where that next project gets to be is not confirmed yet, but he has already been lined with the Nigeria national team coaching job and Tunisian giants Esperance.
Al Ahli are reportedly targeting several European coaches who include Massimiliano Allegri and Andre Villas-Boas.
