Philadelphia Catholic League
First round, Monday, May 15:
No. 3 Lansdale Catholic 17, No. 6 Cardinal O’Hara 4
The third-seeded Crusaders had little trouble with the Lions in their Philadelphia Catholic League opener as eight players had at least one goal in the win.
The victory moved Lansdale Catholic into Wednesday’s semifinals against second-seeded Saint Joseph’s Prep at Monsignor Bonner (4 p.m.).
Seniors Caleb Moister and Patch Flannery led the way for the Crusaders by combining for nine goals with Moister netting five of them.
Junior Colin Cossman had a pair of goals in the win while junior goalie Jack Kennedy had 18 saves, including the 500th of his career.

First round, Tuesday, May 16:
No. 19 Pennsbury at No 14 Ridley, 7 p.m.
No. 22 Hatboro-Horsham at No. 11 Souderton, 7 p.m.
Class 2A (2 teams advance to PIAA playoffs)
First round, Wednesday, May 17:
No. 8 Upper Moreland at No. 1 Marple Newtown, 7 p.m.
No. 7 New Hope-Solebury at No. 2 West Chester Rustin, 7 p.m.

Boys volleyball
Philadelphia Catholic League
First round, Monday, May 15:
Saint Joseph’s Prep at Lansdale Catholic
La Salle 3, Archbishop Ryan 0
Defending Philadelphia Catholic League champion La Salle had little trouble dispatching the Raiders in the opening round of the tournament as the Explorers rolled in straight sets.
The championship match will be held Wednesday at Neumann University (6 p.m.).
District One
