Sheffield Wednesday get another play-off campaign underway this evening.
Darren Moore’s side are away at Peterborough United in tonight’s semi-final first leg down in Cambridgeshire. The Owls finished the regular season a whopping 19 points ahead of the Posh but that is likely to count for precious little once proceedings begin in the first of two meetings inside a week.
The Owls have won just one of their four previous entries into the play-offs. The most recent try was last term when they exited at the semi-final stage, losing out to Sunderland in cruel fashion. They’ll be hoping for a change in fortune this time around however, starting with tonight’s clash which kicks off at 8pm.
