Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have now identified the two victims of a double homicide in Pembroke from earlier this week.
On Monday, May 22, officers were called to a residence on Mackay Street and found two people with life-threatening injuries. Both were taken to hospital, where one person was pronounced dead.
Another person was found dead in the immediate area.
According to post-mortem examinations, the two victims are now identified as 16-year-old Noah Nathaniel Annis and Alando Omario Davidson, both from Mississauga. Police say they died from injuries consistent with gunshot wounds.
Police say a third 16-year-old also from Mississauga sustained serious injuries in connection with the incident.
Investigators believe the victims were targeted. The investigation is ongoing.
