The Raiders NSW Cup side will be looking to snap their losing streak as they take on the New Zealand Warriors this Saturday at Raiders Belconnen in Canberra.
The Raiders lost a closely contested match last week, falling to the Magpies 26 – 18. Xavier Savage scored a double during last week’s matchup.
The Raiders are currently sixth on the ladder, trailing the fifth-placed Warriors by only two points.
The Raiders have made changes to the team in preparation for this Round 15 matchup. Xavier Savage has been shifted from fullback to the wing, swapping with Chevy Stewart.
Mitchell Spencer and Mitchell Prest rejoin the squad via the interchange.
The Warriors have dropped to fifth on the ladder after being defeated by the Rabbitohs last weekend. Warriors centre Ali Leiataua scored two tries in the 24 – 22 loss, and will make his NRL debut on Friday against the Raiders.
The Warriors have named a completely new spine this week with Taine Tuaupiki being named at fullback, pushing Setu Tu to the wing. Ben Farr and Ronald Volkman join the squad as the new halves pair. Kalini Going moves to lock, making way for Eiden Ackland to be the Warrior’s starting hooker.
Kick-off for the Round 15 match-up is at 2pm on Saturday, June 10 at Raiders Belconnen in Canberra.
