NRL champ Josh Hodgson has scored a major win after selling his Canberra pad on Saturday for a cool $1.7million.
Hodgson, 33, auctioned off the four-bedroom, two-bathroom home after leaving the Canberra Raiders last year to join the Parramatta Eels in Sydney.
The English-born big league star bought the 600 sqm block in the Canberra suburb of Denman Prospect in 2021, reports Allhomes.
Hodgson and his wife Kirby later constructed the stylish two-storey house on the site with builders McDonald Jones Homes.
Situated 14.2km from Canberra’s CBD, the custom-built house features a designer kitchen with stone benchtops, a double oven and a butler’s pantry.
There’s also a large family breakfast bar.
Meanwhile, the downstairs features two spacious living areas and a gorgeous out door entertainment deck.
The second storey features a spacious entertainment room.
Other highlights include an enormous communal bathroom, which comes with a luxurious shower and oversized built-in tub.
The master bedroom, meanwhile, features a fabulous en suite with his and hers vanity, large walk-in wardrobes and a balcony.
Essentials include a ducted air-conditioning system, perfect to beat Canberra’s hot summers and chilly winters.
There’s also a large solar power system.
It comes after Hodgson finished his stint with the Canberra Raiders after seven years with the club.
The talented hooker started with Parramatta at the beginning of 2023.
