NJSIAA releases new district and region alignments

On Thursday, the NJSIAA released new district and regional alignments for the state individual wrestling tournament.

The realignment maintains regional groupings but spreads out the state’s top programs, particularly the state’s top non-public programs.

For example, Morris County powerhouse Delbarton is now in District 17 and Region 5, which is made up mostly of Somerset, Middlesex and Monmouth county teams. Hudson County power St. Peter’s Prep is now in District 21 and Region 6, which is made up Ocean and Burlington county teams.
