Thirteen years later, in 2008, the band declared that a reunion was in the works, complete with a tour and album to mark the occasion. The Block album was soon made available. This album was well received and placed second out of 200 on the Billboard chart. A star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame was considered for New Kids on the Block in 2012, shortly before the release of their sixth studio album, 10. The boy band is back and ready to go.
