Mother’s Day is Sunday. If you haven’t found the perfect gift for the maternal figure in your life, don’t sweat it. There are tons of opportunities around Kansas City to treat your mom to a nice present or a calming day.

Build-A-Bouquet
When: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday
Where: 649 Cherokee St. in Leavenworth
Get a personal bouquet made on Saturday just for Mother’s Day. Local merchants at Haymarket Square’s City Market in Leavenworth will help you curate the perfect floral arrangement.
You will receive a map of the merchant booths and a mason jar for $10.
Mom’s Day at Mean Mule
When: 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday
Where: 1733 Locust St., Kansas City
The distilling company said in a Facebook post that this event is for the moms.
Free flowers, Fairway Creamery for all of your sweet treats and a pop-up jewelry shop by Paulina Otero are on hand for you to celebrate the day.
Fox & Pearl
When: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday
Where: 2143 Summit St., Kansas City
The West Side restaurant is hosting an outdoor market for Mother’s Day, featuring local vendors, barbecue from Night Goat BBQ and mimosas.
Art Garden KC
When: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday
Where: 1298 Riverfront Drive, Kansas City
Pendelton Heights’ local garden and art fair is open every Sunday for the season, and that includes Mother’s Day. Plenty of local vendors will be on-site for any last-second gifts or if you want to treat your mom to a nice day outside.
Local foods, live music and yoga classes are also scheduled for the day at the Berkley Riverfront.
Mommy and Me Paint and Tea Party
When: 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday
Where: 7022 N. Locust St. in Gladstone
Artwerx Studio in Gladstone hosts a relaxing painting session by Tamella Smith. You and your mom, grandma or partner can create unique paintings and enjoy lunch provided by the studio.
