Six new stages at TechCrunch Disrupt 2023
TechCrunch Disrupt will always deliver the essential knowledge, tools and connections that help startups grow and thrive. That’s a moving target and requires us to refresh and reimagine Disrupt right along with technology. This year, we’re incorporating six new stages focused on six breakthrough sectors.
These stages will feature conversations with industry heavy-hitters — chosen and curated by TechCrunch staff — in a salon-like setting. We’re talking folks with deep subject-matter expertise who will discuss the most important topics for founders today.
We’re building out the lineups and will announce many, many more sessions in the coming weeks. But here’s a very early peek at what’s in store:
AI Stage: Explore the rapidly expanding capabilities and potential of artificial intelligence; dig into the science behind the deep tech, the products it powers and the ethical, social and legal challenges that come with it. Sessions include: DeepMind and Benchmark.
Fintech Stage: Dig into the evolution of monetary exchanges across DeFi, challenger banks, blockchain, NFTs and web3. Sessions include: Plaid, Andreessen Horowitz and Starling Bank.
Hardware Stage: Explore the mechanics and code behind the machines that help us get things done smarter, faster and more efficiently at work and at home. Sessions include: Alphabet and Magic Leap.
Security Stage: Gain the keys to protecting sensitive information and thwarting hackers intent on unlocking details of your business and your life. Sessions include: Google and Citizen Lab.
Sustainability Stage: Discover emerging technologies that transform the way we engage with our environment, impact society and how we move from place to place. Sessions include: Breakthrough Energy Ventures, S2G and the City of Atlanta.
SaaS Stage: Uncover software-as-a-service tools that reveal insights, power productivity and allow creativity and efficiency to blossom within your organization. Sessions include: GitHub and Cloudflare.
Of course, there’s so much more — explore the expo floor and meet the Startup Battlefield 200 companies, soak up the roundtable discussions and breakout sessions, hit up the Builders Stage for the nuts and bolts of building a startup and don’t miss a minute of the thrilling Startup Battlefield pitch competition. Get your network mojo running everywhere you go at the show: the event app, after-hours events, the TechCrunch+ lounge and more.
TechCrunch Disrupt 2023 takes place on September 19–21, and for the next week, you can snag two Disrupt passes for the price of one. Remember, the sale ends next Tuesday, May 30 at 11:59 p.m. PDT. Buy your pass before the deadline, enjoy a relaxing long weekend, and then get ready for three opportunity-packed days designed to take your business to new heights. Sale is only applicable to General, Investor, and Founder passes.
