Moray amateurs Ryan Bain and Ryan Copland are well up the Northern Open leaderboard at Moray Golf Club.
Clydeway Golf’s Graham Fox leads the way at the halfway point, as one of only three golfers to shoot under par at Lossiemouth.
North Lanarkshire’s Paul O’Hara, who won the tournament when it was last played at Moray and currently leads the order of merit, is one shot behind Fox after a round of 70.
Local amateur Ryan Bain (Strathlene) shot 74 and is tied for 14th along with Rodger Clarke from the Golf Dedication Centre near Lossiemouth.
Another amateur representing the home club Moray, Ryan Copland shot 75 along with Hopeman hopeful Albert MacKenzie.
The tourney is decided today after the second and final round with £3,200 going to the eventual winner from a prize pot of £20,000.
