Round 10 of the VFL season is complete with three games taking place across Sunday afternoon.
The first clash took place at Collingwood’s AIA Centre with the Magpies going down 43-82 to North Melbourne.
In a curtain-raiser to Sunday’s AFL clash between the sides, North Melbourne’s senior bodies were too much for the Magpies to handle.
Darcy Tucker had plenty of it with 25 disposals, while Kayne Turner (four goals), Tarryn Thomas (16 disposals) and Aiden Corr (18 disposals) were strong.

For the Magpies, they would have been disappointed to lose Reef McInnes early to a left knee injury while the likes of Trent Bianco (27 disposals) and Ed Allan (19 disposals) were strong and could come into selection consideration with Steele Sidebottom suffering an MCL injury at AFL-level.
We then headed down the highway to GMHBA Stadium with Geelong defeating Port Melbourne 73-60.
Ollie Dempsey was among the best for the Cats with one goal and 27 disposals while Angus Byrne was strong up forward with three goals.
For the Borough, ruckman Sam Naismith did his mid-season draft hopes no harm with 14 disposals and 37 hitouts.
The final game of the day took place at The Hangar with Essendon going down 58-105 to Box Hill.
Ned Long was best on for the Hawks with three goals and 34 disposals but most eyes were on the club’s mid-season draft hopefuls and they sure put in big final whiteouts ahead of Wednesday.
Callum Brown was prolific with 36 disposals, while Ethan Stanley (two goals, 16 disposals) and Ryan Maric (two goals) confirmed their likely status as draftees.
A great running goal from 50 by Ethan Stanley, extends the @BoxHillHawks lead 🙌
