CHAMPAIGN, Ill.– Season tickets for 2023-24 Fighting Illini men’s and women’s basketball go on sale today at noon.
Both programs are coming off successful campaigns with anticipation high for the upcoming season.
Last year saw the Illini men’s team post its best homecourt winning percentage since 2006 and play in front of 12 sellout crowds – which included every Big Ten game – the most in the last 15 years.
Illinois is the Big Ten’s winningest team in conference play over the last four years, with Head Coach Brad Underwood directing the program to a 55-25 record.
During this stretch the Illini have made three straight NCAA Tournament appearances, own four straight 20-win regular seasons, and have recorded four straight top-five Big Ten finishes highlighted by a league-best 16 wins in 2021 and 15 wins en route to the Big Ten title in 2022. The 55 B1G wins are the most over a four-year stretch in school history.
State Farm Center will be rocking once again with Illinois featuring one of the oldest and most experienced rosters in the nation, highlighted by the return of first-team All-Big Ten guard Terrence Shannon Jr. and versatile power forward Coleman Hawkins, who both withdrew from the NBA Draft to return to Champaign.

In Year 1 under Head Coach Shauna Green, the Illini women’s program participated in the NCAA Tournament for the first time in 20 years and secured its most wins since 2000.
Illinois delivered one of the largest one-year turnarounds across the NCAA. Green led the squad to a 22-10 overall record after taking over a program that had gone 7-20 the season prior. The Illini were ranked in the Top 25 for the first time since the 2000-01 campaign.
In the stands, Illinois secured the fifth-best single-season home attendance in program history, and Green became the first head coach to bring in 50,000+ fans during their first season at the helm.
There’s no better time to come out to State Farm Center and support the #OneWay Forward campaign. Illinois returns its top six leading scorers, led by unanimous first-team All-Big Ten guard Makira Cook and second-team all-conference picks Kendall Bostic and Genesis Bryant.
