Poh Ling Yeow has revealed the emotional inspiration behind the art she will display at the Illuminate Adelaide festival.
The MasterChef star, 49, told Channel Ten’s The Project on Wednesday, her artwork ‘channels grief’ following the death of her mother Christina.
‘I felt so honoured because it feels incredible to be trusted with a huge canvas that is going to be seen by so many people,’ she began.
‘But it came at a difficult personal time for me because it was close to when my mum had just passed away.’
‘When I was invited to be part of [Illuminate Adelaide], I received it with such a sigh of relief because I knew I could channel my grief into something beautiful.’
It comes after Poh recently showed off one of her incredible art pieces.
