A former Married At First Sight star is in disbelief after her Gold Coast home was robbed on Monday night while she was sleeping.
Tamara Djordjevic, who appeared on season nine of the reality show, was left shaken after waking up to discover her house was ransacked.
The 31-year-old said two cars were stolen from her garage, but she can’t go into any other detail because the police are still dealing with the matter.
Sharing a photo of her empty garage, Tamara listed several reasons why the burglars must have been experts.
She wrote: ‘I’m getting a lot of DMs about the stolen cars.
‘1. I have security cameras,’ she added.
‘2. My garage door is SO LOUD.
‘3. My bedroom is at the front of the house and they had to come inside to get the keys.
‘4. I know for sure it was between 4-5am.
‘5. I live in a really safe area of love crime! So this is extremely unlikely.
‘I have no idea how this happened because it seems insanely impossible for them to sneak into my house and get away with this.’
She then shared a photo of her chihuahua Zeus after many followers asked why he didn’t bark and wake them up when the robbery occurred.
‘Thank you everyone for the kind and helpful messages today,’ she wrote.
‘It’s amazing what a community can do when people go through a hard time. I can’t really give an update because everything is under police investigation.
‘One thing we keep getting asked is why didn’t Zeus wake or bark and the answer is, he’s not a loud barking dog and he was asleep,’ she explained.
‘He’s not much of a guard dog but at least he’s safe’.
The real estate operations manager rose to fame on the 2022 series of Married At First Sight.
She was ‘married’ to Brent Vitiello on the show but he ended things with her during their final vows.
