Police arrested a man accused of firing several gunshots at a vehicle Saturday night in what police are investigating as a possible case of road rage on the Northwest Side that resulted in another man being hospitalized.
Darwin Gomez, 26, was arrested on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. His bail was set at $75,000, court records show.

Officers received a call shortly before 10 p.m. regarding a shooting in progress in the 8300 block of Bandera Road, where they found a 36-year-old man with gunshot wounds to his shoulder. The man, who was in a white Toyota sedan, was outside a used car dealership when police arrived, according to a preliminary report.
Gomez turned himself in shortly after, having called 911 to report that he was involved in a shooting, according to the preliminary report. He was taken police headquarters and arrested.
The man who was shot was taken to a local hospital in fair condition.
