Following the ‘successful’ deployment of Dexory’s autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) and integrated data platform in its Kettering warehouse in January, Maersk UK&I is expanding its use of this technology across all its warehouses in the UK and Ireland.
The combined solution consists of Dexory AMRs and the DexoryView platform, which work together to “help Maersk measure, track, and locate goods across every logistics step, from inbound to storage to outbound”.
DexoryView, launched in January 2023, is a platform that automates data collection and builds real–time digital twins to offer greater insights into warehouse operations with the aim of improving efficiency.
Dexory showcased DexoryView when it exhibited at IntraLogisteX 2023. Read more about it here!
The company will also be returning for returning for IntraLogisteX 2024 at the NEC, Birmingham on 19-20 March, once again co-located with Robotics and Automation and with the new addition of the Sustainable Supply Chain Exhibition.

Maersk’s Tamworth facility will be the next to have the technology deployed; this process will take place in early June, to be followed by all remaining warehouses in the region.
The logistics company is investing in its UK warehousing network. In addition to its warehouses in Kettering and Tamworth, it has another in Doncaster and, in April 2023, signed a lease for a 685,000ft² facility at SEGRO Logistics Park East Midlands Gateway.
Dexory’s Chief Commercial Officer, Oana Jinga, said: “We’re thrilled to continue supporting Maersk on their journey to being the efficient and sustainable global integrator they intend to be.”
The solution, according to Dexory, supports Maersk’s sustainability commitments by optimising existing resources in warehouses to reduce waste. Maersk has set a net zero target of 2040, aiming to reach this goal across the entire business and offer ‘100% green solutions’ to its customers by then.
Fergus Whinham, Maersk’s UK&I Commercial Lead, said: “As a customer-centric organisation, it is vital for Maersk to stay at the forefront of innovation within the supply chain and be able to offer customers the opportunity to test the latest and greatest solutions as they are developed.
“We’re confident that continuing and expanding our work with Dexory will continue to drive that innovation on behalf of our customers.”
