Lucille A. “Lucy” Bond (neé Landerman), 96, born in Fond du Lac on January 17, 1927, the only daughter of Izetta and Clayton Culver passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at Hospice Home of Hope. She graduated from LP Goodrich High School in 1944 and was married to Lawrence “Nibs” Bond on March 4, 1945, at St. Patrick’s Church in Fond du Lac. He preceded her in death on April 17, 1991.
Lucille and her family spent many summers at their cottage on Linden Beach with her father Clayton and summers at Evergreen Campground. In the winter months, Lucille and Lawrence spent time at the Alpin Bowling Alley helping to clean and having fun with friends. She was a huge Brewers fan and loved watching them and the Packers play, and she would get in the local neighborhood Packer pools. If Lucy wasn’t watching sports, she would watch the Game Show channel. We believe this is what kept Lucy as sharp as a whip!
Lucille was a member of NAIMA group (a support group for both widows and widowers), Linette’s Dancers (she danced well into her eighties), a charter member of TPU (Taylor Park University), Eagles Aerie Group #270, and Holy Family Parish.
