A power cut at Gatwick Airport station has seen all lines closed. Platform 3 at Farringdon Station has also closed affecting services towards London Bridge and Blackfriars.
TfL Rail posted a series of tweets explaining that ‘due to an obstruction’ fewer trains are to be expected. They wrote: “Due to an obstruction on the track earlier today between St Pancras International and London Blackfriars fewer trains can run on the line towards East Croydon, Gatwick Airport, Brighton and Horsham.”
Services running to these stations may be cancelled, delayed or revised until things are back to normal. North and Southbound services from Farringdon will be departing from platform 4.
MyLondon has reached out to the London Fire Brigade and British Transport Police for confirmation.
