One lane on the A30 at Altarnun is currently shut due to a bus fire.
According to roads traffic and monitoring service, Inrix, there is slow traffic in the area due to the incident on the eastbound carriageway between B3257 Bodmin Moor Services and A30 Holywell Cross.
Traffic heading towards Launceston is being impacted. Inrix reports: “Slow traffic and one lane closed due to a bus fire on A30 Eastbound between B3257 (Bodmin Moor Services, Altarnun) and A30 (Holywell Cross, Launcesten). Congestion to The Gulf Station.
“Sensors indicate the road is blocked, affecting traffic towards Launceston.”

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police has confirmed officers helped assist with road closure.

In a statement on its website, a fire spokesperson said: “Please be aware of an ongoing incident on the A30, eastbound near to Plusha.
“Fire Service and police in attendance. Traffic may be an issue in the area.”
