ZAC BISHOP MEMORIAL 4-MILE RUN
EXTREMELY hot conditions, even at the 7:30 start time provided the setting for the 140 participants in the second Zac Bishop Memorial run hosted by Kilmallock AC. A presentation was made to Patrick Roche in recognition of his 200 marathons. On Saturday Pat completed marathon no. 205th in the heat of the Burren.
Selected others Joe Chawke 26:35, Tanya Cox 26:10, Donie Dwane 27:19 and Pamela Kirby (Bilboa) 25:47. Numbers were higher this year than last and from a wide range of clubs. Everyone seemed happy. Well done to Kilmallock AC.
