That a delinquency entry was entered on January 1, 2020, in the record of the County Treasurer as Tax Collector of Shoshone County, State of Idaho.
That said delinquency entry was made in respect of unpaid taxes assessed for the 2019 tax year.
YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED, that if said delinquency entry is not redeemed on or before July 25, 2023 by payment of said taxes together with Late Charges, Interest, Costs and Expenses up to the date of said notice at the office of the County Treasurer at Wallace, said County Treasurer shall thereupon as required by law, make application to the Board of County Commissioners of Shoshone County, State of Idaho for a hearing to be held July 26, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. or as soon thereafter as said application can be heard for a tax deed conveying the property to said Shoshone County, State of Idaho, absolute title, free of all encumbrances except any lien for taxes which may have attached subsequently to the assessment hereinabove referred to.

Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Idaho Code § 63-1311A, to hold a public hearing to set and amend the County’s Administration Fees (“Admin Fees”) for collecting and issuing titles and for issuing registrations as contemplated under Idaho Code § 31-870. The purpose of these Admin Fees is to ensure that local ad valorem property tax revenues are not used to fund the operations of state agencies. Operations of the Vehicle Licensing Division of the County Assessor’s Operations acts as local agent of the Idaho Transportation Department, Division of Motor Vehicles in performing vehicle titling and registrations pursuant to Idaho Code § 49-205.
An independent analysis by the County Clerk’s Office dated April 10, 2023, has determined that Admin Fees need to be changed and set as follows:
a) Under § 31-870(3), I.C., the administrative fee for any registration issued pursuant to chapter 4, title 49, Idaho code, should decrease from $10.00, to $9.50 per registration; and
b) Under § 31-870(4), I.C., a new administrative fee for all title transactions collected and issued pursuant to chapter 5, title 49, I.C., must be set at $8.00 per title; and
The Board of County Commissioners will conduct a public hearing for the purpose of hearing public comment on this matter at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 in Meeting Room 1B, located on the first floor of the County Administration Building, 451 N. Government Way, Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho.

SUMMARY
Shoshone County is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) to fill a roster of individual firms capable of providing Engineering Services and/or Surveying Services pursuant to Idaho Code § 67-2320.
The purpose of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is to establish the roster from which the County may choose to contract through individual Task Orders throughout the contract period. Each firm selected for the roster will be required to sign a Master Agreement for the specific Scope of Work.
The County may select a firm from the roster based upon the County’s determination of which firm most closely meets the requirements of the particular need, consistent with Shoshone County’s Procurement Policies, considering such factors as firm specialization, personnel, and availability. The County will then notify the firm and negotiate the scope of work and compensation, which is formalized in a Task Order to the Master Agreement. The Master Agreements do NOT preclude the County from having the discretion to issue a separate RFQ or RFP for any project.

WHEREAS, the City of Smelterville, Shoshone County, Idaho (“the City”), is a municipal corporation organized and operating under the laws of the State of Idaho and is authorized to annex and to incorporate within the boundaries of the City contiguous property in the manner provided by Section 50-222, Idaho Code; and
WHEREAS, the owner(s) of the real property situated in the unincorporated areas of Shoshone County and particularly described in Section 3 of this Ordinance have requested, in writing, annexation of said real property to the City of Smelterville, and have filed with the City consents to the same;
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council, held a public hearing on the 24th day of May 2023, on the proposed annexation and zoning of the property described in Section 3 below, as required by Section 67-2525, and determined that the requested annexation should be granted and that the annexed property should be zoned Commercial (“C”) pursuant to City of Smelterville Zoning Ordinance 230.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SMELTERVILLE, COUNTY OF SHOSHONE, STATE OF IDAHO as follows:
SECTION 1. That the following described land as evidenced by the attached Legal Description herein incorporated by reference as Exhibit “A” is within the corporate limits of the City of Smelterville, Idaho, and that the City of Smelterville has received written consent for the annexation and rezoning by the owners of the described property, to-wit:

That the property to be annexed into city limits of the City of Smelterville is that property depicted in the map marked as “Exhibit B” attached hereto and incorporated herewith.
SECTION 2. The Mayor and Council hereby find and declare that the real property described in Section 3 of this Ordinance is contiguous to the City, that said property can be reasonably assumed to be used for orderly development of the City, that the owner(s) of said property have requested and consented to, in writing, the annexation of said property by the City, and that the requirements of Section 50-222, Idaho Code, for annexation of said property have been satisfied.
SECTION 3. That the real property described in Exhibit “A” is annexed and re-zoned to Commercial (“C”) Zoning as governed in the Smelterville City Code. From and after the effective date of this Ordinance, the residents and other occupants and property owner(s) within such area shall enjoy all the rights and responsibilities and shall be subject to all ordinances, resolutions, police regulations, taxation and other powers of the City of Smelterville as their fellow residents, occupants, and owners within the City of Smelterville.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk is hereby directed to file, within ten (10) days of passage and approval of this Ordinance, a certified copy of this Ordinance with the offices of the Auditor, Treasurer, and Assessor of Shoshone County, Idaho, and with the Idaho State Tax Commission, Boise, Idaho, as required by Section 50-223, Idaho Code, and to comply with all provisions of Section 63-215, Idaho Code, with regard to the preparation and filing of a map and legal description of the real property annexed by this Ordinance.
SECTION 5. That the City Engineer is hereby directed to alter all use and area maps as well as the official zoning maps, and all official maps depicting the boundaries and the zoning districts of the City of Smelterville in accordance with the ordinance.
SECTION 6. All ordinances, resolutions, orders, or parts thereof in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, rescinded, and annulled.
SECTION 7. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication, according to law.

PROCUREMENT FOR SERVICE TRUCK
The purpose of this notice is to inform all parties that the City of Post Falls, Idaho intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Knudtsen Chevrolet Co. for equipment authorized by Idaho Code Section 67-2808 as the City has determined that competitive solicitation is impractical, disadvantageous, or unreasonable under the circumstances. The basis for the procurement of this equipment through a sole source contract is that Knudtsen Chevrolet Co. is able to provide a truck that meets the City’s needs within an acceptable timeframe given the existing service truck has reached the end of its useful life and is required to ensure the critical maintenance of the water reclamation facility and wastewater collection system is maintained. Qualifications must be submitted to City of Wallace Planning and Zoning Department at 703 Cedar Street, Wallace, ID 83873 prior to 5:00 P.M. PST on July 21, 2023.
SUMMARY
The City of Wallace is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) to fill a roster of individual firms capable of providing Engineering Services and/or Surveying Services pursuant to Idaho Code § 67-2320.
The purpose of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is to establish the roster from which the City may choose to contract through individual Task Orders throughout the contract period. Each firm selected for the roster will be required to sign a Master Agreement for the specific Scope of Work.
The City may select a firm from the roster based upon the City’s determination of which firm most closely meets the requirements of the particular need, consistent with the City of Wallace’s Procurement Policies, considering such factors as firm specialization, personnel, and availability. The City will then notify the firm and negotiate the scope of work and compensation, which is formalized in a Task Order to the Master Agreement. The Master Agreements do NOT preclude the City from having the discretion to issue a separate RFQ or RFP for any project.
SPECIFIC INFORMATION AND QUESTIONS
All information relevant to this RFQ, including general information, instructions for submittal, scope of work, and specifics, can be located on the City’s Website.
