ALBANY – Leah Reed was crowned Best Mom on Sunday as the city concluded Tulip Festival weekend.
Reed of Pittsfield, Mass., was nominated by her sister Natalie Monroe.
The award was presented Sunday in Washington Park.
The other finalists were Amie Bloom of Selkirk, who was nominated by her friend Beth Pattison; Jenae Gayle of Colonie, who was nominated by her coworker Anna Kuwabara; Julia Long of Albany, who was nominated by her friend Julia Henderson; and Jessica Ryder of Mechanicville, who was nominated by her advocate Julia Duff.
