La Fiera de Ojinaga – The well-respected Chihuahua-style music band
La Fiera de Ojinaga has strong origins in traditional Mexican norteo culture. The band was founded in 2012 with the intention of just making an album for themselves, but it quickly grew a fan base in both Mexico and the United States. They signed a recording deal with Azteca Records in 2013. With over 10 albums under their belt, this five-piece band shows no signs of slowing down. On the Azteca Music Group channel, their song “Imposible y Prohibido” has grown to become one of the most popular YouTube recordings.
In 2022, their song “La Luna de Miel” gave them their first Billboard #1 ranking. Fans are eager to see them perform live because they have over 100 tracks. Their YouTube channel has received over 200 million views and they have over 680,000 monthly Spotify users. Fans from all over the world attend the group’s live performances due to their high-energy stage presence and Chihuahua-style music. La Fiera de Ojinaga is well liked and respected in the regional Mexican music scene.
They will be appearing for the first time at RODEOHOUSTON® on March 12 as part of Go Tejano Day.
