Katie Price risked another fine on Tuesday as she appeared to travel with four children in the back of a five-seater car.
The former glamour model was in Brighton with her fiance Carl Woods to celebrate her 45th birthday.
After a meal at Donatellos she headed back to her car with her daughter Princess, 15, who was joined by a male companion, her son Jett, 9, and younger daughter Bunny, 8.
The four of them then got into the back of the car while Carl and Katie sat in the front seats.
The government website states: ‘You’re only allowed 1 person in each seat fitted with a seat belt.
‘You can be fined up to £500 if you don’t wear a seat belt when you’re supposed to.’
A representative for Katie has been contacted by MailOnline for further comment.
During the outing Katie looked casual in cream tracksuit and chunky boots, while Carl wore tight jeans and a blue hoodie.
It comes just a few months after Katie was slammed by campaigners for driving her £60,000 Hummer in flimsy sliders.
She was pictured by The Sun in April in the footwear as she returned to driving after a two year ban.
In 2021 she received a 16-week suspended jail sentence and the ban after she admitted drink-driving while disqualified and without insurance after a crash near her home in Sussex.
She flipped her car on the B2135 near Partridge Green, near Horsham, at about 6.20am on 28 September while driving to see a friend.
She completed her court assigned rehab order following the car accident on after which she tested positive for alcohol and Class A drug cocaine.
After the images emerged of her driving the car in sliders one anti-drink driving campaigner told The Sun: ‘Those are the sort of shoes you’d expect somewhere to wear at a swimming pool – not driving a huge car like that with her driving record.
‘It’s an absolute disgrace and is very dangerous. She’s putting herself and other road users at risk.
‘I don’t see how you’d safely be able to control such a car while wearing those shoes.’
Former Met cop Peter Bleksley added to the publication: ‘This is shocking. It sets a terrible example.’
Katie’s reps were contacted by MailOnline for comment at the time.
The Highway Code does not say anything specific about driving without shoes but Rule 97 says: ‘You should ensure that clothing and footwear do not prevent you using the controls in the correct manner.’
In December 2021 Katie issued a grovelling apology after avoiding jail for her drug and booze-fuelled car crash.
She said she was ‘incredibly sorry’ and was working hard to address her mental health issues.
She said: ‘It’s been a really difficult time and I’m incredibly sorry for my actions – I’m sincerely grateful nobody was hurt.’
The mum-of-five added: ‘I’m spending time getting better – mental health is a hidden illness and can strike at any time.’
Campaigners were furious after the mum of-five walked free from court at the time despite crashing her Range Rover near her Sussex home that September during her fifth driving ban.
She told police at the scene: ‘I took drugs. I should not be driving. I admit it all’.
But Katie escaped with a 16-week suspended sentence for drink-driving after going into rehab.
Katie crashed her BMW while double the drink-drive limit after leaving her home to allegedly hunt for drugs during an all-night alcohol and cocaine bender and was subsequently arrested before pleading guilty in court.
The model had no driving licence at the time after being disqualified for two years in October 2019 – and has been banned from the roads six times in total.
The three charges were using a motor vehicle on a public place without third party insurance; driving while unfit to drive through drink; and driving while disqualified. Katie had been taken to hospital but is not thought to have been badly injured.
The star is mum to Junior, 17, and Princess, 15, who she shares with Peter Andre, as well as Jett, nine, and Bunny, eight, with ex-husband Kieran Hayler and Harvey, 19, with Dwight Yorke.
