The Princess of Wales wowed royal fans as she stepped out in a £3,000 green Suzannah tea dress during a visit to the Anna Freud Centre on Thursday.
Kate, 41, paired her sophisticated ensemble with Alessandra Rich two-tone heels and a pair of Accessorize earrings costing around £8.
An online description for the dress details how it is made from ‘pure Italian silk crepe’ and was inspired by ‘a late 1940’s Wiggle Dress’.
And while the royal mother-of-three is known to have been a fan of the brand for years, it’s also not the first time she has donned the chic gown.
In fact, the Princess previously wore the gown in white on four public occasions, including Wimbledon in July 2019.
The stylish royal opted for the sleek Suzannah dress which she paired with a small bow and a slender Alexander McQueen belt.
Opting for a monochrome theme, Kate coordinated her chic frock with a small basket box bag, also by McQueen, along with black court shoes, completing her look with a pair of sunglasses.
She also donned the ensemble during a visit Baby Basics in August 2022 and to attend the Grenfell Tower memorial service in June 2022.
Kate teamed the pure Italian silk dress with Alessandra Rich £625 two-tone pumps, in beige and black for the memorial service.
Mother-of-three Kate teamed her statement frock – that boasted buttoned cuffs and black button detailing down the front – with a matching belt.
Most recently the royal donned the gown under a chic red coat during a visit to Soho in May ahead of the coronation weekend.
Here FEMAIL takes a look back at some of the best of Kate’s matching outfits – from the beginning of her royal career to now.
Coronation Gown
Last month Kate’s Coronation gown was unveiled after Buckingham Palace released official portraits from the historic occasion.
Kate chose a stunning ivory silk crepe dress by Alexander McQueen for her father-in-law’s big day.
The floor-length gown featured silver embroidery which perfectly matched her floral headpiece and the royal finished off her ensemble with Queen Elizabeth’s George VI Festoon Necklace.
However, eagle-eyed fans may have spotted that the Princess of Wales’ Alexander McQueen gown is almost identical to one the royal already owns.
The British fashion house has long been one of the Princess of Wales’ favourite designers – with the royal even selecting their Creative Director Sarah Burton to design her wedding dress in 2011.
In December 2019, the then Duchess of Cambridge wore a black version of this designer gown to attend a reception for members of the Diplomatic Corps at Buckingham Palace.
For this occasion, Kate wore her show-stopping gown with the Lover’s Knot tiara, her Royal Victorian Order’s badge and the accompanying blue sash.
Less than 24 hours before King Charles’ Coronation, Kate Middleton joined the monarch and Prince William to surprise royal fans who had lined The Mall outside Buckingham Palace.
To meet with members of the public, the royal opted for a slim-fitting midi dress which was custom-made for her by UK designer Jenny Packham and featured a black velvet belt.
The mother had also worn the exact same dress but in black to greet mourning royal fans outside Windsor Castle with Prince William and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in September 2022.
For that sombre day, the Princess kept her accessories minimal and simply wore a pair of black tights and suede heels.
Pleaty Woman
Back in May 2012, the then Duchess of Cambridge attended a Buckingham Palace garden party in a pretty Emilia Wickstead coat dress in a blush pink shade.
The royal – who was expecting Prince George at the time – paired her bespoke dress with some nude patent heels and a matching blush fascinator.
The outfit proved to be such a hit that Kate ordered it again in a bright blue shade to wear on an engagement in Warminster in December 2015.
Pristine in Preen
On a royal tour of Canada in September 2016, the then duchess stunned in a bright red dress by British fashion house Preen.
Pulling out all the style stops, she paired her gown with some ruby red silk high heels and a matching bag.
To finish off her elegant ensemble, Kate wore a silver maple leaf-shaped brooch as a nod to her hosts.
Two months later, she wowed guests at the Place2Be Wellbeing in Schools Awards at Mansion House when she stepped out in a black version of the dress.
On this occasion, the mother-of-two wore a statement bejewelled belt and styled her hair in lose waves.
Coat of Charms
In June 2016, Kate wore a £2,000 Catherine Walker creation to attend the Order of the Garter ceremony in Windsor.
The bespoke outfit consisted of a pleated coat worn over a knee-length dress in the exact same shade of red.
The following July, Kate wore an almost identical version of this ensemble on her royal tour of Germany with Prince William.
Ditching the fascinator, she stunned in a light purple coat dress, which she paired with some nude suede heels.
Suits her!
In February 2017, Kate wore this £493 double-breasted twill jacket by Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini to take part in a training exercise at the RAF Wittering base.
Seven months later, the royal – who was expecting Prince Louis at the time – wore a blue version of the blazer in a woolen finish.
The expectant mother teamed the statement jacket with black jeans and roll-neck jumper while attending the Coach Core graduation ceremony at The London Stadium.
Pretty in Pink
For the Trooping the Colour in April 2017, Kath wore a light pink Alexander McQueen coat dress with statement pleats around the neckline.
The following year, the mother-of-three wore an incredibly similar version of this outfit to attend Princess Eugenie’s wedding to Jack Brooksbank at St George’s Chapel in Windsor.
To make the dress more wedding guest appropriate, Kate added some puff sleeves to the structure and ordered it in a bright pink hue.
Wonderful Wickstead
New Zealand-born designer Emilia Wickstead has become one of Kate’s go-to designers during her time in the Royal Family – so it’s hardly surprising that the Princess owns almost two identical dresses by the fashion house.
In October 2018, the Princess of Wales stepped out in a £1,350 lilac knee-length dress by Emilia Wickstead to attend the Global Ministerial Mental Health Summit in London.
Less than a year later, Kate debuted an olive green version of the designer gown to open the Anna Freud Centre in London.
Although the royal wore the same nude suede heels for both engagements, Kate had the neckline of the second dress slightly altered so it was a touch lower.
Style Queen
For the annual Remembrance Day service at Westminster Abbey in November 2018, Kate Middleton turned to one of her late mother-in-law’s favourite designers.
The then Duchess of Cambridge looked sensational in a £2,500 forest green coat dress by Catherine Walker, which she teamed with a matching velvet headband.
On Christmas Day that year, the mother-of-three recreated this exact look in a festive shade of red as she was pictured walking to the Royal Family’s church service on the Sandringham estate.
Kate’s love of Catherine
What’s more, the Princess of Wales also owns another two Catherine Walker coat dresses in different colours.
In December 2021, Kate turned to the British fashion house for her Christmas Service at Westminster Abbey outfit.
The designer dressed the Princess in a bright red button-down coat dress with a statement bow at the neck.
The following year, Kate wore the black version of this garment to attend Prince Philip’s funeral in Windsor.
