PSG target Arteta
Paris Saint-Germain have held talks with Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta over becoming their new manager.
That is according to RMC, who claim that following the sacking of Christophe Galtier PSG made a sensational move for Arteta.
However, discussions don’t appear to have gone well between the two parties.
That is because the Spanish tactician plans to stay in north London after coming close to a first Premier League title since 2004.

Fuming Manchester City fans have demanded a boycott of the Community Shield.
That’s after blasting ITV and the FA over the kick-off time.
Treble winners City will compete for yet another trophy when they take on Arsenal in the Community Shield final on Sunday August 6.
Mikel Arteta’s men have the honour of playing City after finishing second in the league.

Arsenal’s move for Sacha Boey could be scuppered by injury.
The French defender who plays for Galatasaray was called up to the Les Bleus U21 squad.
However, he is said to have suffered an ankle knock at Clairefontaine and has been pulled from the squad.
Turkish outlet Sabah claim it is bad enough to throw his move to North London in doubt.
Arsenal have been told how much it will cost to sign Leicester City defender Timothy Castagne.
The Belgium international is likely to be sold, after the Foxes were demoted from the top flight.
Now, according to Fabrizio Romano, it will take just £12million to prise him away from the King Power Stadium.
Juventus are also keeping tabs on the full-back.
Hellas Verona forward Cyril Ngonge has spoken of his dream to play for Arsenal one day.
During an interview with TuttoMercatoWeb, Ngonge said: “My dream has always been to play for Arsenal. But now I’m in Italy, I love it so I might even want to stay. Just kidding, of course.”
Arsenal ‘very confident’ of double deal
Arsenal are reportedly ‘very confident’ they will be able to secure a double transfer deal for Declan Rice and Kai Havertz.
Sky Sports Germany claim the two deals are ‘very advanced’.
Journalist Florian Plettenberg wrote on Twitter: “News #Havertz: Been told Arsenal is very confident to sign both: Rice & Havertz! Despite of the fact that Chelsea has rejected the first offer. Arteta is pushing for Havertz!”
He added: “Arsenal is planning the next steps. Bayern‘s next transfer meeting scheduled next week.”
Arsenal transfer strategy unveiled
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has lifted the lid on Arsenal’s transfer strategy.
“For Arsenal, it is always important in the line of strategy. They go for the player if they are 100% convinced. Otherwise, they prefer to wait,” he told GIVEMESPORT.
“Look at Raphinha, for example. Last summer, they wanted Raphinha but had no chance to agree on a fee for him.
“So, they decided to wait until January to sign any winger in Trossard. So, this is why, for Arsenal, it’s important to find the right player in the right position.”
