A dejected Titans coach Justin Holbrook was struggling to hide his disappointment after his side threw away another substantial lead to lose to the Bulldogs in a thriller.
The Titans led 14-0 and were doing it easily before eventually going down 20-18 on the back of a Jayden Okunbor try in the 78th minute.
“I’m disappointed and I feel awful,” Holbrook said.

“That’s the way I’m feeling. We again found a way to not win a game.
“We did everything right. I said it last time, you don’t lead 14-0 and not know what you are doing.
“We are just finding ways to come unstuck and we did it again.
“If you don’t watch the game you go, oh two points it must have been close.
“But feeling like I was seeing it we were in complete control of the game and then we didn’t win it. I feel awful.”
Holbrook put the loss down to too many players making individual errors and going away from what they were doing so well in the first half.
“We were individually getting things wrong in the second half,” Holbrook said.

“We were just going away from what was working and it is affecting us. That’s the part we have got to fix.
“We just had too many one off guys getting one thing wrong in the second half. If we just stick to clear mind on what is needed we will be winning those games in the future.
“Individually we are getting caught off guard and making a lot of one off things that we are not doing wrong in the first half and that’s affecting us.”
The Titans were terrorised by matt Burton’s bombs and Holbrook admitted his side let too many of them bounce and paid the price.
“Yeah we worked really hard and we knew that was their main strength,” Holbrook said.

“It is hard because I watched the last few weeks and a lot of them come down short, but you have got to be around the ball.
“We didn’t have enough urgency in that area and that cost us those couple of tries and it really hurt us.”
Adding to the pain of the loss was the fact skipper Tino Fa’asuamaleaui faces a nervous wait on the match review committee.
“Hopefully it is fine,” Holbrook said.

“We want him to play Origin. He is an awesome player and hopefully nothing comes of that.”
“I just think it is a contact sport and obviously I am running as hard as I can and Reed is getting off the line as hard as he can,” Fa’asuamaleaui said.
“He is half my size and obviously it is going to be hard not to get away off my shoulder or whatever was in front of his face.
“I am just glad that he got back on the field alright.
“The Tevita one there was no malice in it. I was just trying to do an old school tackle and get underneath him and it just came off wrong.”
