She’s never been afraid to play with her look.
And Jessica Rowe revealed her quirky aesthetic taste on Friday as she displayed her blue pixie-cut hairdo while stepping out with friends in Sydney’s upmarket Double Bay.
Clad in an eye-catching ensemble, the former Studio 10 host, 52, was hard to miss as she strolled down the footpath with a take away coffee in hand.
The TV presenter kept warm for the outing in a long white dress emblazoned with a playful cat print, paired with a beige scarf and a long brown coat.
Jessica completed her look with a pair of blue snakeskin boots and held a large brown handbag by Miu Miu.
The sighting comes after Jessica recently hit back at body-shamers who called her ‘bony and stringy’.
The former Studio 10 host, who is married to Nine news anchor Peter Overton, recently enjoyed a sun-soaked day at the beach with her family where she was snapped by paparazzi showing off a $299 bikini.
Despite looking gorgeous in the flattering frock, the television presenter suffered a barrage of vile hate comments about her body which she addressed on her podcast.
Speaking on the Jess Rowe Big Talk Show last month, she shared the cruel words ‘hurt her feelings’ – and they were not for the faint hearted.
‘Why do old women cut their hair short? It is unattractive and very manly looking,’ someone wrote.
‘She looks like an 80-year-old dude,’ another commented.
One added: ‘I think when you get to that age, it is best not to display your body publicly.’
Someone else commented, ‘She has zero sex appeal,’ and: ‘Far too thin!’
After the comments were read in a voice over, Jess said she didn’t know whether to ‘laugh or cry’ because she was so shocked at how ‘awful’ and ‘cruel’ people can be.
‘I don’t understand what is in people who think that is okay to do. I’m a grown-up, but that hurts, and that isn’t okay to give unsolicited commentary on someone’s body,’ she pointed out.
She went on to say while she was ‘comfortable in my skin’ and loves who she is as a person, she was still ‘hurt’ by nasty comments just like everyone else.
