Another day, another dress for Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence who glammed up for the German premiere of her new R-rated coming-of-age sex comedy, No Hard Feelings, at Zoo Palast in Berlin on Thursday.
The Kentucky-born 32-year-old certainly looked leggy in a black pleated blazer dress over a matching mesh turtleneck and patent leather slingbacks selected by stylist Jamie Mizrahi.
Make-up artist Georgie Eisdell applied brown shadow on Jennifer’s baby blues and red lipstick on her pout.
Hairstylist Gregory Russell gave Lawrence a partial updo but left her long blonde locks down for the film festivities.
The Causeway producer-star made an outrageous claim about Lee Eisenberg, the producing partner of her No Hard Feelings director Gene Stupnitsky, in an interview published Thursday.
‘Years ago, Lee Eisenberg bought a toilet on Craigslist from my mom [Karen]. My toilet,’ Jennifer claimed to People.
Lawrence visibly waffled when asked for more details of the alleged sale, shrugging: ‘I don’t know. I’m like, “I broke it.” My mom sold it for me.’
Eisenberg quickly to took to Instagram to call the three-time Golden Globe winner’s story ‘completely untrue’ noting: ‘It’s a thrill to be a part of the cultural conversation. I’ve never bought Jennifer Lawrence’s old toilets, but maybe this will open the door.’
It seems Jennifer was just having a little fun to liven her endless press junkets.
It was Lawrence who encouraged her 21-year-old co-star Andrew Barth Feldman to hire stylist Brian Meller, who dressed him in a black structural suit and jaunty b&w scarf.
‘I tried to keep my advice technical, because he is just a nice person that’s just a genuinely kind person, the Hunger Games alum told People.
‘And so I thought it would be annoying to say what everybody always said to me, “Don’t change,” because he’s not going to change. He’s a wonderful, sweet person, but I was like, “You need to get a stylist, you need to get a publicist.”‘
Jennifer executive produced and stars as a Craigslist escort, who gets paid by helicopter parents to date their Princeton-bound virginal 19-year-old son (Feldman).
Lawrence’s former Uber driver character Maggie is lured into the unseemly deal in order to save her mother’s home and replace her repossessed car with a Buick Regal.
But no one batted an eye when esteemed filmmaker Paul Thomas Anderson cast 27-year-old Alana Haim to play the love interest to 16-year-old Cooper Hoffman in his three-time Oscar-nominated 2021 box office bomb, Licorice Pizza.
No Hard Feelings – hitting UK theaters this Friday and US theater June 23 – also features Matthew Broderick, Laura Benanti, Natalie Morales, Scott MacArthur, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Hasan Minhaj, and Kyle Mooney.
It’s unclear when the two-time SAG Award winner will ever begin work playing the late, great talent agent Sue Mengers in Paolo Sorrentino’s biopic Sue for Apple TV+, especially considering the ongoing WGA strike.
On the personal front, Jennifer and her husband of three years – Gladstone 64 gallery director Cooke Maroney – are proud parents of 16-month-old son Cy .
Before the 38-year-old Vermont native, Lawrence previously romanced her Mother! director Darren Aronofsky, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, and her X-Men co-star Nicholas Hoult.
