Introducing the Winners of the 19th Annual HD Awards

Hospitality Design (HD) magazine announced project and product winners during the 19th annual HD Awards ceremony. More than 500 people attended the event, held on Tuesday, June 6th at Cipriani 25 Broadway in New York, which honored the year’s best and most innovative achievements in design from around the globe. The breadth of the industry was showcased across approximately 1,070 project and product submissions.

Of the winners, the Six Senses Rome received Best in Show in projects, while the Dispensary from Rogue projects was named Best in Show for products.

Chosen by the HD editorial staff, the HD Awards also recognized Kemper Hyers of Auberge Resorts Collection and Tara Bernerd & Partners as Hotelier and Design Firm of the Year, respectively. Additionally, Calvin Ma won the annual HD/West Elm Student Product Design Competition, and the Hospitality Diversity Action Council (HDAC) honored Ashli Johnson of the Marriott-Sorenson Center for Hospitality Leadership at Howard University as the recipient of its Awards of Excellence.
