Motorbike accident on property
RACQ CapRescue was tasked to a rural property near Bajool, south of Rockhampton, on Friday, 19 May after a teenage boy sustained suspected upper and lower body injuries whilst riding his motorbike on the property.
The teenage boy appeared to have collided with some fencing post while riding along a dirt track and coming to rest about 50m away from the initial impact site.
Road ambulance paramedics responded to the scene initially, providing medical treatment, before Rescue 300 landed at the scene.
The Rescue 300 onboard doctor and critical care paramedic stabilised the patient for the flight to Rockhampton Hospital. The patient was on Friday in a stable condition where they were to receive further treatment for their condition.
