The former VFL gun’s day out led the league for SuperCoach scoring, putting in a massive 218 points for his 19 contested possessions, seven marks, six inside 50s, four tackles and a goal.
Wagener’s lasted game has capped off a dominant month of football where he averaged 155.3 SuperCoach points pre contest in wins over the Giants, Grovedale and St Joseph’s, as well as a close loss to Newtown & Chilwell.

But despite collecting 39 touches, Wagener did not lead the round for most disposals, with St Albans skipper Jacob Russell continuing his dominant season with 43 disposals.
Russell also had 14 contested possessions, 12 marks, seven clearances and six inside 50s, resulting in a SuperCoach score of 203 points.
St Joseph’s forward Paddy De Grandi led the competition for marks with 14 for the round, with four of those contested and eight inside the forward 50, leading to a haul of 5.3.
His handful of goals was tied with St Mary’s Charlie Sprague and Lara’s Bailey Ettridge, while Joeys teammate Hunter Lewis booted six goals in the big win over St Albans.
Bell Park defender Edward Boyer led the way for spoils for the round with nine, while Newtown & Chilwell’s Luke Maddock had eight against St Mary’s.
Lara’s William McKenzie had seven intercept marks to lead the competition, while Colac’s Jack Melican and Leopold’s Tevan Nofi had six to sit in second.
Geelong West’s David Handley stuffed the stat sheet again this weekend, recording 35 disposals and 21 contested possessions.
But the Giants skipper led the league for tackles as well, laying 11 in the loss to Leopold.
South Barwon’s Jake Peters had 21 disposals, but impressively went at 100 per cent efficiency for the match.
He was one of 14 players to remain perfect with their disposals, but only Colac’s Lachlan Simpkin (11 disposals) and Grovedale teenager Hamish Pierson (11 disposals) also reached double figures.
