Geelong will unleash an Irish debutant and regain two key players — including a defender that’ll wear a face mask — for its must-win clash against the Giants.
The Cats (5-5) have regained Sam De Koning and Ollie Henry, while they’ve also picked Oisin Mullin for his first game, for Saturday’s match, which comes after two consecutive losses.
The Giants (3-7) sit 15th on the ladder but have been competitive in nearly all of their losses so far this season, including in their 12-point loss to St Kilda last week.

SEN’s Sam Edmund reported on Saturday morning that De Koning, who had facial surgery earlier this month after copping a knock in Round 7, would wear “an NBA-style face mask” that’d been approved by the AFL and Geelong’s medical team.
“It’s a big mask that will cover the majority of his face. I don’t think we’ve ever seen it before in the AFL,” Edmund told SEN’s Crunch Time.
This match gets underway at 4.35pm AEST from GMHBA Stadium.
Watch it live on Fox Footy (Channel 504) from 4.30pm AEST.
