Angela Margaret Leslie Thorne, who played the voice of the Queen in The BFG in 1989, Three Up, Two Down, and Lassie (2005), was an English actress who appeared on stage, in television shows, and in movies. She was born on January 25, 1939, and died on June 16, 2023.
However, she was probably best known for her roles as Margaret Thatcher in Anyone for Denis? (1982) and Marjory Frobisher in To the Manor Born (1979–1981).
