PetrolPlaza drove across the Black Forest (Germany) to attend Hectronic’s Sales Conference. After a three-year break, professionals from the fueling and parking industries got together to discuss products and trends.
After a three-year hiatus, German supplier Hectronic was thrilled to celebrate its Sales Conference once again. Last week, more than 130 international parking and refuelling experts got together in Germany’s Black Forest (Munzingen).
A complete program with numerous workshops, discussions, and lectures entertained participants over three days. The ongoing mobility transformation, digital business models, cloud solutions, alternative fuels and e-mobility took centre stage in most presentations and discussions. Keynote speakers from companies such as Agrola, JET H2 Energy, FEIG, Hamer, PetrolPlaza, Strateq, sodigital, Soltráfego, Rauwers, and WVIB AG shared their experiences, insights and success stories.
“As we are further expanding in areas such as cloud solutions, alternative fuels and e-mobility, our products also become more refined and complex. Many new people have joined our company since our last conference, and we now have more than 400 employees! This means events such as the sales conference are crucial for us to further deepen the link between our team members, partners, and clients,” said Stefan Forster, Managing Director of Hectronic AG.
Hectronic employees were also on hand to answer questions in workshops and on stage. New probe technologies were presented for service station management, and workshops such as “Charging as easy as refueling” or “From alternative fuels to car washes” showcased new product highlights.
On Friday, keynote speakers, which included PetrolPlaza’s Oscar Smith Diamante, discussed the challenges around the energy transition and which energy types will be more dominant in a roundtable session. The parking management unit also peeked at the future by discussing digital business models, cashless payment options and the development of parking machines.
“After the last edition 2019, it was great to see that the long-lasting business relationships with our partners continue to flourish, while we also managed to expand our business network and were able to bring many new faces to our conference. A mix of stability and dynamism, so to speak,” added Forster.
This year, Hectronic’s “Partner of the Year” award went to Rauwers (parking) and Hamer (refueling) for decades of successful collaboration.
