HORSHAM — Designed to enhance teaching and learning, the new Keith Valley Middle School (KVMS) is underway. The Hatboro-Horsham School District community gathered for a groundbreaking ceremony on May 24.
“This is a community celebration, not just a district celebration,” said Dr. Scott Eveslage, superintendent of schools. “Many who are not here at this event contributed to this project. Once completed, they and all of you will have helped build an amazing school facility to help students flourish and thrive as learners.”
The new school, planned to open for the 2025-2026 school year, will replace the aging KVMS and is being built where the current athletic fields are.
“What we wanted was to make the new Keith Valley a place where everyone fits everywhere,” said Dr. Sue King, director of education. “We wanted to make sure all students and all community members felt like a valued part of Keith Valley.”
With shovels in hand, four groups helped break ground on the new KVMS: HHSD Board of School Directors, future KVMS students with current KVMS and District Administration, building and design teams from Schradergroup and D’Huy Engineering, and Horsham Township and Hatboro Borough officials.
