Seven Angels Theatre has announced the winners of the annual Halo Awards. The three award galas were presented at Waterbury’s Palace Theater on three consecutive nights beginning May 30.
This year marked the Halos’ 20th anniversary of recognizing the best of high school theater. Seven Angels Theatre sponsors the program that is like Broadway’s Tony Awards for high school students involved in their school’s theater department.
Seven Angels has spent the past 20 years rewarding and elevating a multitude of Connecticut high school theater programs. The original 12 schools that participated in Halo judging have grown to an impressive 80-plus high schools in all corners of Connecticut.
The complete lists of Halo winners has been posted on the Rep-Am website.
