It was a joyous day to be a Guns N’ Roses fan in Abu Dhabi yesterday. The band opened their 2023 World Tour with a deep setlist featuring thirty songs including some that they haven’t played in over 30 years. Some of the choice cuts included “Anything Goes” off Appetite For Destruction, which they haven’t played since 1988. “Pretty Tied Up” and “Bad Obsession” also hit the setlist from Use Your Illusion I/II and they haven’t played those tracks since 1992 and 1993 respectively. They also debuted “T.V. Eye”, a Stooges cover with Duff McKagan on vocals.
