The Steve Hodge-trained Lika Sun didn’t fire a shot in her only first preparation run however the three-year-old daughter of Sebring Sun showed she has a win or two in her after a close second in a provincial maiden at Newcastle last start when her closing last 600m was top five of the meeting. Back to a maiden restricted to her own, Lika Sun will appreciate the step from 900m to 1150m and with natural improvement looks considerable overs at the $7 available in early betting.
