Brendan O’Connor of BOC Properties will be appearing on one of the most popular property shows in the world, ‘House Hunters International’, which will premiere on HGTV (USA) this Sunday, May 21, at 10.30pm EST (3.30am, May 22, Irish time). The show typically attracts over 40 million viewers in the United States on its first airing, and this figure increases dramatically with repeated shows and broadcasts on other TV stations around the world.
In the episode, Brendan will be viewing three lakeside properties around Lough Derg with a couple who are relocating to Ireland from Minnesota in the USA. Dan and Andrea Nelson, with their four children, are moving to the area and want to live close to Lough Derg.
BOC has a reputation for selling and renting high-end properties to corporate clients and attracts a lot of international buyers through their global social media presence. They are currently listing some prestigious houses on their website.
Brendan said: “This show is a great advertising platform for international exposure for us and local businesses in the lake area. The filming was shot in Garrykennedy, Ballina, and Derrycastle and will feature some historical landmarks around Lough Derg.”
If you are unable to receive HGTV (USA), it will probably be repeated on HGTV (Europe) at a later date, and it will also be uploaded to YouTube by HGTV after its premiere. ‘House Hunters International’ is produced by Leopard USA.
