The exclusive accolade forms part of Nissan’s National Dealer Excellence Program – reflecting the highest level of excellence – and has this year gone to Ferntree Gully Nissan (metropolitan), North Jacklin (provincial), and Gatton Auto (rural).
Judging is based on more than 20 key performance indicators, including customer experience and satisfaction across both sales and service.
For 2023, the Metropolitan Global Award Winner was named as Ferntree Gully Nissan, serving Melbourne’s eastern fringe, which took the top gong from a field of over 50 entrants.
Nissan Australia says it is a repeat performance by the Ferntree Gully Nissan team, proving the dealership’s long-term commitment to customer satisfaction.
Ferntree Gully Nissan dealer principal Michael Banjanin acknowledged his team’s collective effort across sales, service, parts and finance, noting a “shared commitment to exceptional customer satisfaction across the business”.
Taking the Provincial Global Award Winner prize for 2023 was North Jacklin in Mackay, on the Central Queensland coast. Dealer principal John Nash Jr said his team’s hard work and dedication to their customers was the “driving force behind this achievement”.
A second Queensland-based Nissan dealership, Gatton Auto (90km west of Brisbane), took out the Rural Global Award Winner gong for 2023, the prize accepted by dealer principal Jason Gordon.
Mr Gordon praised his sales, aftersales and finance teams for “their focus on delivering the best customer experience possible”.
Speaking on the importance of the Global Awards from Nissan Australia headquarters in Melbourne this week, Nissan Australia managing director Adam Paterson said the awards recognise the best of the best from across the Nissan network.
“We pride ourselves on having the very best dealer network in Australia, and one that puts the customer at the centre of all that we do,” said Mr Paterson.
“These awards recognise the best of the best across our outstanding network, and I’d like to congratulate our dealer principals, and their entire teams, on their success.”
