For the first time, the event will also see community activations held in the lead-up, with these beginning on Monday, April 8.
Partnering with the Shepparton Festival to bring together an outstanding stage, Converge on the Goulburn will feature an extended event program with more experiences, stories, learnings and activities for everyone to enjoy.
Greater Shepparton City Council is on the lookout for community members who would like to be involved in the event in a variety of ways. Expressions of interest are open until Friday, July 14.
City of Greater Shepparton Mayor Shane Sali said the festival was a great opportunity to bring the community together, and encouraged residents to invite their extended families and friends to celebrate our diverse region.
“Converge on the Goulburn is a truly unique festival for the region and the state, focusing on our people, culture and way of life,” Cr Sali said.
“I highly encourage anyone who loves connecting with the community to submit an expression of interest to be part of this wonderful event.”
Council invites people to join the festival, connect with the community and be ready for a multicultural and First Nations two-day celebration like no other.
