Funkin launches three new RTD cocktails
Funkin Cocktails has expanded its canned cocktail portfolio with three new flavours, including Apertivo Spritz, Berry Woo Woo and Lime Margarita, all 5% ABV.
Crafted using Funkin’s nitrogen-infused technology to guarantee bar quality cocktails with a smooth finish, the brand described the new serves as “perfect for any occasion” and “ideal for sipping in the sunshine”; simply chill and serve.
Lime Margarita is a blend of Mexican lime juice, agave spirit and a hint of sea salt while the brand’s Berry Woo Woo variant offers a balance of sweet strawberries, juicy cranberries and vodka.
The new serves are availble now from a variety of off-trade retailers in 250ml can format at RRP £2.25 per serve.
Adnams announces new IPA
Suffolk-based brewery Adnams has announced the launch of its latest IPA, Lazy Sipa (4 % ABV).
A cold session IPA, the new serve has been described by the brewery as “crisp and deliciously drinkable” with intense hop flavours and mellow malts followed by a refreshing finish, boasting citrus, pine and peach notes.
Fermented at a warmer temperature than lagers but not as warm as IPA, cold session IPAs are similar to lagers and India Pale Lager in profile with a similar hop character to IPA, according to Adnams.
Adnams Lazy Sipa will be available direct from the brand in 440ml can format from Tuesday 23 May.
BrewDog Distilling Co. introduces new spirits range
BrewDog Distilling Co., the spirits arm of pub operator and brewer BrewDog, has announced the launch of a new spirits range.
Aiming to “break the mould” of premium spirits, the new range consists of several new serves across the vodka, rum and gin categories.
The LoneWolf Gin range features four varieties: Original (40% ABV), Mexican Lime and Cactus (38% ABV), Peach and Passionfruit (38% ABV) and Bramble and Raspberry (38% ABV), while the brand’s new vodka range, Abstrakt, will also be available in four varieties, Original (40% ABV), Madagascan Vanilla and Toasted Marshmallow (38%), Watermelon and Strawberry (38% ABV) and Raspberry and Lime (38% ABV).
Lastly, BrewDog Distilling Co.’s new rum portfolio, DUO, is available in Spice, with citrus, vanilla and fiery ginger notes, White, with tropical fruit and caramel notes, and Pineapple, offering mango and papaya alongside fiery ginger variants, all 40% ABV.
The new range will be supported by a £7m growth plan, including a new distillery, bespoke bottles and new branding and marketing for 2023.
All new expressions will be availble across the BrewDog estate and direct from its webshop from July in 70cl bottle format, priced between £21 and £26 per bottle.

Robinsons releases new Iron Maiden Trooper Beer
Celebrating the tenth birthday of Trooper Beer, Robinsons Brewery and Iron Maiden have released a new imperial stout to mark the occasion.
Launched earlier this month, Trooper X (10% ABV), has been crafted by the Manchester-based family brewery’s head brewer, Martyn Weeks, and the rock band’s lead singer, Bruce Dickinson.
Weeks said: “Trooper X is packed full of roasted malt flavours, which perfectly balance the complex and delicious aromas. This is the ultimate super smooth sharing beer which, if you can resist drinking straight away, will mature in the bottle and get even better with age.”
The brand’s award-winning original 4.7% ABV Trooper beer was first released in 2013 and is now exported to 68 countries worldwide.
Dickinson said: “I’m immensely proud that Trooper has reached this milestone. To get to 10 years is a brilliant achievement, and I’m having a great time working with Robinsons and our partners around the world coming up with some fantastic beers. Thanks to our fans, Trooper has become a permanent feature with beer lovers around the world, and it’s still growing.

Sovereign Brands introduces new French liqueur
Following its recent launch in the Alchemist Bar’s, Sovereign Brands Villon is now available to the wider on-trade.
Hand-crated using small-batch traditions with a blend of spirits distilled from French wheat and natural flavours, Villon (40% ABV), named after medieval French poet François Villon, offer notes of toasted oak, vanilla, spice, orange blossom and peach, best served neat over ice or as the foundation of a cocktail.
The new serve is available from Master of Malt in 70cl bottle format at RRP £39.95.
Mydflower launches new sparkling wine
Made in the Brecon Beacons, near the village of Myddfai, Mydflower offers a dry sparkling wine, crafted using traditional methods, local elderflower and Welsh mountain spring water alongside lemon juice and Champagne yeast.
Launched this year, Mydflower, which was created by two friends with a shared passion for nature and foraging, is low in sugar and calories and is also gluten and preservative free.
Mydflower Sparkling Wine (5.3% ABV) is available now direct from the brand in 24x250ml can format at RRP £3.75 per serve.
Meantime Brewery details new collaborative brew
Meantime Brewery has launches a new pale ale, Desi (5.5% ABV), brewed in collaboration with award-winning journalist and beer writer David Jesudason.
Celebrating the launch of Jesudason’s new book, titled Desi Pubs, the new beer is a unique take on IPA, showcasing Willamette and Saaz hops to offer a combination of ripe mango and tumeric aromas with notes of coriander and wood apple on the palate.
Desi will be availble from Thursday 1 June at The Gladstone in Southwark, South London, at RRP £6 per serve.
Siren Craft Brew announces three new beers
Wokingham-based brewer Siren has announced three new beers, White Tips (4.5% ABV), Ricochet (5.7% ABV) and Doing Science (6.5% ABV) as well as the relaunch of Näcken (6.9% ABV).
A session IPA, White Tips is an expression of a wit beer combined with IPA levels of hops brewed with Belgian yeast, balancing orange, grapefruit and lime flavours, while Ricochet is a West Coast Pilsner crafted with Simcoe, Citra and Nelson Sauvin hops.
Doing Science uses a new European hop, Strata® CGX™, in addition to Idaho 7 and Citra alongside a special yeast blend.
The brands Hopfenweizen serve, Näcken, has also marked its return. Originally born out of the brand’s first homebrew competition with winner Rick Gordon Lindqvist, the serve boasts a creamy body, loaded with hops.
All Siren Craft Brew beers above are availble direct from the brewery’s webshop in 440ml can format at a trade price of between £22 and £30 for a pack of 12.
