Bryce Fullwood will be shining amongst the Darwin Triple Crown paddock racing a pink Brad Jones Racing Camaro at Hidden Valley Raceway.
For the second ever Supercars Indigenous Round at Darwin, Fullwood’s car has turned pink with a special livery representing family and the Wiradjuri people.
Brad Jones Racing has teamed up with the Mungabareena Aboriginal Corporation to design the special livery with car #14 joining the already released looks for Macauley Jones and Andre Heimgartner.
In addition to the pink, there are plenty of meaningful Indigenous artworks sprinkled around the Camaro.
The most noticeable design is the purple flower that spreads across the bonnet, which is symbolic of the family theme.
The smaller aqua green flower that grows around the rear wheels represents the Elders of the community, while the Murray River is also present with blue elements around the car.
The Darwin Triple Crown is a particular special meeting for Fullwood, who is a Darwin native.
“Darwin has always meant family for me and I am so proud to be able to represent that with this livery thanks to the Mungabareena Aboriginal Corporation,” Fullwood said.
“MAC has delivered a very distinct and remarkable artwork that fills me with pride to be able to race.
“My family and the Middy’s Electrical family have supported and given me strength over my entire racing career and the theme resonates strongly with me.
“The Indigenous Round is a very special event in our sport and to be able to have that in a place like Darwin, where the community is so strong is important.”
The 25-year-old has a best result off 11th on home turf in 2021 and believes there is some “potential” to achieve a maiden top 10 in his 2023 trip after being around the mark in Tasmania.
“We’ve achieved some good results so far this year and have had some very positive signs,” Fullwood said.
“There is some definite pace, so that gives me a lot of hope coming into Darwin.
“I’m very excited for this round and feel like we have quite a bit of potential.”
The 2023 Darwin Triple Crown will be held on June 16-18.
