Two people have been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries following a serious collision between a car and a truck in Victoria’s west.
It’s understood a car and a truck collided at the intersection of Hendersons Rd and Avenue Rd, Burrumbeet, about 6.40am on Monday morning.
Two people had to be extricated from one of the vehicles, according to Ballarat CFA.

The driver and a passenger in the truck have been airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the car and a second passenger in the truck have been taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
It’s believed two of the people involved are men in their 60s, and one is a man in his late teens.
“This has had a huge impact on a number of bystanders who saw it occur or came across it after it happened,” Ballarat CFA said.
