There are four changes on the Tipperary team to face Down in the Tailteann Cup at FBD Semple Stadium on Sunday next.
Into the side come Conal Kennedy (Clonmel Commercials), Luke Boland (Moyle Rovers), Mark Russell (Aherlow) and Sean O’Connor (Clonmel Commercials).
Missing from the starting line-up against Meath last weekend are Steven O’Brien (Ballina) ad Cathal Deely (Clonmel Commercials) both injured, while Mikey O’Shea (CJ Kickhams, Mullinahone) and Keith Ryan (Upperchurch/Drombane) are named among the subs.
County under 20 hurler James Morris (Clonmel Commercials) is a new addition among the substitutes.
This is the second of three games in the Tailteann Cup round robin for Tipperary. They lost by 1-19 to 0-11 in Navan on Saturday last. Their final game will be against Waterford.
