After the completion of the season for many clubs, there are a number of player exits – here’s a round-up of the known moves including former Port Vale players.
Shodipo departs QPR
Former Vale loanee Olamide Shodipo has been released by Championship outfit Queens Park Rangers. The winger spent a loan spell with the Valiants in 2017 making six appearances. This season he faced the Vale while on loan at Lincoln City.
Altrincham part company with Eden Bailey
Former Port Vale youth teamer Eden Bailey, who made two senior appearances for the Valiants, has been released by Altrincham. The forward was signed in November and loaned out to Hanley Town. He failed to make a senior appearance for Altrincham.
Sutton opt to release Wilson
Striker Donovan Wilson, who had a brief loan spell with the Vale back in 2018 has been released by League Two side Sutton United. Wilson played eight times for the Valiants and netted a solitary goal. He made 103 appearances for Sutton, scoring 18 times.
Marshall exits Maidstone
Winger Mark Marshall has left Maidstone United after the club issued its retained list. The pacy wideman was a one season wonder for the Vale playing during the 2014-15 season.
AFC Fylde release Cullen
Former Vale striker Mark Cullen has been released by National League North side AFC Fylde. Cullen had an injury-plagued spell with the Valiants netting eleven goals in 47 appearances during a two-year stay. He departs Fylde after just four appearances and a solitary goal for the club.
